Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆Let's get our kinky f@ckery on! I'm not sure about y'all but after reading the first book Asunder, I have been waiting patiently for book two, Disconnect to publish. There were so many unanswered questions it was frustrating, but so worth it! Phoenyx Slaughter blows your mind again with a mild cliffhanger and I'm again left waiting for the next book in the series. But, don't let that deter you from reading this book because there is enough to satisfy you until November.
We are thrown into the Iron Bulls MC lifestyle and the story pickups with Dante searching for Karina who was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, Logan/Hemi. Dante and Karina's relationship progresses and stronger feelings are developed. Even with the age difference they work. What began as revenge on her ex-boyfriend changed Karina's life. Dante is the enforcer for the MC and allowing someone to matter doesn't factor into his lifestyle, but Karina gets under his skin and all he can think about is his "little girl." Growing up by herself, Karina depended on her intelligence to survive and graduating high school to attend college is important to her, but so is Dante.
I really enjoyed the secondary characters and learning more about them. They play an important role and you begin to picture the various storylines the author is weaving. Hopefully, we will learn more about Romeo and Luck in books to come. I'm really excited about the next book and can't wait to read it. Another marvelous addition to my library!

Another great book by Phoenyx Slaughter! You don't find too many books that pick up right where the one before it in a series leaves off. Dante is a force like no other and surprises you at every turn. The way this bad ass biker who never gave a s*** about any female is determined to find his women and get her back and get revenge on the brother who took her. He protects, cares, provides for her. There are three words I didn't think i would be reading in this second book at least not from Dante and not for him to say them first. I actually thought Karina would say them. A lot happens in this book and I definitely can't wait for the next book. I loved everything from the characters to the events that happen. a smaller cliffhanger then Asunder. If you haven't read the first book read it before reading Disconnect events happen in the first one that you need to know before reading this one. I couldn't put it down and had to keep reading it until I finished. Phoenyx you have started a great series and I can't wait for more!

Holy hell, I need a Dante in my life!! He is rough, blunt, sexy, protective, and has a heart for his Karina.
Disconnect picks up where Asunder left off. Dante has to find his girl! This book was the perfect segue into the May/December, big bad biker/naive baby girl relationship between Dante and Karina. Secrets were revealed but new ones surfaced. I never saw the ending coming! WTH?!
Dante and Karina are a hot couple! These two are fireworks when they are dirtying up the sheets!! I love them together!
I do hope Karina finds her inner strength as the series progresses. I want her to blossom as a badass, intelligent, independent woman.
I still want Luck's story!! He is sex on a stick!!
Disconnect and Asunder are for readers who like their men to talk dirty, and their women to love it!
I love the relationship between Karina and Dante. On the surface there is no reason these 2 should work but they do. There is no reason we should want them together but we do.
I thought i would be uncomfortable with her calling him "Daddy" but for some reason it seems to fit their "play time".
I love that he is so protective of her but equally expresses his respect for the person she is and what she has had to overcome. I think the fact that Karina displays a maturity beyond her years seems to make this couple work for me. She seems to give Dante a reason to enjoy being part of a duo and he gives her a feeling of safety and unconditional love. I love that this book keeps the suspense moving along by adding in new plot twists that pose a threat to their relationship. As the relationship gets more serious they seem to be able to overcome the people in their way.
I don't think you can call any couple Dante is a part of "cute" but they really do have that something special that makes you realize they might just have been meant for each other.

Dante and Karina's story continues, and although these two are constantly on, in and up each other, the story going on in the background has me turning pages at lightning speed. I love this series!
Dante is all man, and this man knows exactly what he wants. Its nice that this dirty, much older, alpha has a soft side that Karina brings out in him. She is young, sweet and smart, and i love that Dante knows how to nuture and look out for her.
Luck, Dante's MC brother, is a bigger part of this story and things are getting interesting. I can see it going two ways for the three of them... I'm hoping it doesn't turn ugly? Luck's character is interesting and I hope he gets his own book. Being into the BDSM scene, i think things will be seductively, sexy and oh so hot!
This book, like the first, ends with a dreaded cliffhanger but thankfully for me, all the series is out, phew!
Being Asunder was free and Disconnect was onky 75c on , i dont mind having to purchase part 3 for a little more.
This series is extremely well written, has a good mix of both story and sex and i cant wait to get my 👀 into the next book.
I recommend this series to everyone! Love it 💖💖💖🔥🔥💖💖💖
